Toni Mayros, M.A., PHR
President

As President of HR Tampa, Toni Mayros provides leadership to the local chapter consistent with state, regional, and SHRM policy, strategies and objectives. Effectively operates the chapter so that the needs of the members are met. Perform other duties as required by the local chapter's bylaws. Serves as a voting member of the state council.

 


Lynnette Holsinger, SPHR, GPHR
President Elect

As President Elect, Lynnette Holsinger, assists the president in overseeing all the activities of the chapter. In the absence of the president, she will perform all the presidential responsibilities. In addition, she manages activities of the expo committee.


Jill Conklin, PHR
Secretary

 

As Secretary, Jill Conklin takes minutes of chapter meetings, provide notice of meetings and general correspondence. Maintains chapter records and history.


Inass Riyad, MS, SPHR, GPHR
Treasurer

As Treasurer, Inass Riyad acts as financial officer and advisor to chapter board of directors. She maintains the chapter mailbox and distributes mail to the appropriate officer or director. Sends dues notices and other invoices to members. Files appropriate forms and information with IRS.

 


David Steffen, Esq.
Immediate Past President /Foundation Director, Director of Legislative Affairs

As Immediate Past President, David Steffen advises the president and other officers and members of the board of directors regarding past practices, general operations, and other matters to assist in the smooth operation of the chapter. In addition, he educates, promotes, and represents the interests of the SHRM Foundation and its activities to the chapter membership.

As Director of Legislative Affairs, David Steffen monitors and evaluates on a continuing basis pending legislative, regulatory and legal action at the federal, state, and local level that may have an impact on the management of human resources. Presents a legislative report or update to the chapter members. Works in close cooperation with the State Governmental Affairs Director and the SHRM headquarters staff in carrying out these responsibilities.

 


Patricia Sullivan, MS, SPHR
Co-Director of Certification

As Co-Director of Certification, Patricia Sullivan manages HR Tampa’s certification study program. She encourages members to become certified and recertified. Increases the number of chapter members who are certified PHR/SPHR/GPHR by the HR Certification Institute.

As Co-Director of Certification, Jennifer Currence manages HR Tampa’s certification study program. She encourages members to become certified and recertified. Increases the number of chapter members who are certified PHR/SPHR/GPHR by the HR Certification Institute.


Susan Styx, PHR
Director of College Relations

As Director of College Relations, Susan Styx manages the Tampa Bay HR Student Chapter (Chapter #5568), scholarship program, internship and mentor programs and college outreach efforts.


Ashlie Melillo-Banks, PHR
Director of Diversity

 

As Director of Diversity, Ashley Melillo-Banks monitors and evaluates on a continuing basis local activities concerning diversity issues. Spearheads the effort to diversify the chapter's membership/leadership and to publicize successful diversity programs in the local community.

Conducts benchmarking and networking activities necessary for creating a viable sponsor program.

As Director of Workforce Readiness, Cheryl Brown monitors and evaluates on a continuing basis local activities concerning workforce readiness issues and plans and encourages chapter involvement and activities impacting the workforce readiness arena. Presents a report or update to the chapter president and fellow chapter members. Works in cooperation with state-level workforce readiness advocates.
