HCA West Florida is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery and diagnostic imaging facilities, and a complete continuum of specialized health programs and services that meet the healthcare needs of residents and businesses in West and Central Florida communities.
Our West Florida Division office, located in Palm Harbor, Florida is currently seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to support our Division VP of HR and Division Director of Organizational Development. This position is project management driven and requires both a solid experience in HR as well as performance management.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Plans, implements and oversees special projects to ensure the effective delivery of division-wide HR services.
- Provides HR consulting and support to leaders and employees within areas of responsibility (HR Organization and West Central FL Shared Services) to assist the organization in achieving it's human resources and business goals.
- Supports workforce development initiatives through coordination and collaboration of educational and workforce board partnerships. Coordinates obtainment of local, state, and national funded grants and programs.
- Researches and analyzes Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness trends; Recommends and assists in the development of new programs and services.
- Researches and analyzes current programs, policies, and processes and recommends revisions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Assists in the development and implementation of changes to effect continual improvement of services provided.
- Develops verbal and written communications/presentations to support HR organizational objectives.
- Assists in the design and preparation of training/instructional materials, presentations and teaching aids. Coordinates training and orientation schedules.
- Assists in the development and implementation of selection, training and development, performance management and succession planning programs. Assists in the development of job descriptions/performance management plans and competency models.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with major coursework in HR management, business administration or related field.
- A minimum of three to five years HR Generalist experience required; experience in healthcare preferred.
- Project management experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel required.
