HR Tampa Submits 3 Chapter Excellence Award Nominations to HR Florida
The HR Florida State Council honor the work local chapters do with the Chapter Excellence awards. The Chapter Excellence awards will focus on the demonstrated achievements and execution of one or more of the following core leadership areas:
• Diversity
• Workforce Readiness
• College Relations
• Membership
• Certification
• Global Affairs
• Legislative Affairs
Up to three (3) chapter excellence awards will be presented at the August Council meeting. Chapters must demonstrate wisdom, knowledge, transition, achievement, success, inspiration and change through the execution and accomplishments of one or more of the core leadership areas listed above. A panel of HR Florida State Council Members will judge the Chapter Excellence Awards.
This year, HR Tampa submitted three areas for consideration. A heartfelt appreciation goes out to the three board members and their committee members that spent tireless hours of their personal time leading these initiatives on behalf of HR Tampa. Bring your resume and personal business cards to the monthly chapter meetings and NETWORK
- LinkedIn with other HR Tampa members
- Volunteer! Sign up to volunteer for a couple hours the day of the HR Tampa Expo on October 21st and receive a complimentary registration. Contact presidentelect@hrtampa.org if you are interested in volunteering. Space is limited. This offer is available to members in transition that are active members in good standing with HR Tampa.
If you are in transition and haven’t renewed your membership with HR Tampa due to financial restrictions, HR Tampa provides prior-year active members who are unemployed at the time of the membership renewal, a one-time opportunity to rejoin as a Basic member for up to one year!
