MAY MONTHLY MEETING


Join us for our monthly chapter meeting of May 18th for The Value of a Veteran.  Participants will learn about the current and enlarging gap between veterans and our society, the potential impacts and significance of that gap, and how we can use our understanding of these issues to make a difference in our society, the lives of individual veterans, and within our own teams by understanding and hiring this tremendous talent pool.  Our speaker will discuss some of the stigmas associated with veterans along with the vast advantages and incentives that will entice companies to consider recruiting veterans to join their teams.

It appears that everywhere we look these days, HR Tampa is excelling in advancing the profession. These accomplishments are something you as a member should be very proud of.

 

This March, SHRM awarded HR Tampa its prestigious EXCEL Platinum Award for the Chapter’s accomplishments in 2015. The award is part of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence, which aligns individual chapters and councils’ activities with SHRM’s aspirations for the HR profession. The award recognizes accomplishments and strategic activities and initiatives that enhance the human resources profession.
