2025 HR TAMPA MEMBERSHIP: BIG CHANGES, BIG VALUE, MORE OPTIONS!!!

Starting in January 2025, HR Tampa will transition our chapter from a 100% SHRM Member Chapter to a Local Member Only (LMO) Chapter. While we will maintain our affiliation with SHRM and HR Florida State Council, we recognize that the cost of multiple memberships can be a burden, especially as we are keenly aware that many organizations are only willing or able to pay for one membership (or none at all). This means that beginning in January of 2025, to be a member of HR Tampa, you will no longer be required to maintain a SHRM membership if you are not on the HR Tampa Board.

Many members already leverage HR Tampa events and HR Florida’s conference for their professional development, and we want to ensure that you can continue to do so without added financial strain. 

• Cost Savings: For those who do not utilize SHRM resources, this change could save you over $250 annually.

• Maintaining Credentials: SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certified professionals can retain their credentials without holding a national SHRM  membership.

• This change is as much about simplifying our administrative processes as it is about addressing the needs of our members.

• It also opens the opportunity for HR professionals who are not members of SHRM to have a dynamic networking experience and be part of a premier human resource association.

2025 Rates:

HR Tampa has not raised membership rates in over a decade, while we absorbed all the increases from vendors/suppliers, operations, and enhancing the content and benefits. As costs have evolved, we recognize the necessity of adjusting our rates to sustain our mission. We are committed to ensuring that our student members and those in transition continue to benefit from low—or no-cost membership options.   Memberships will end on December 31st and are non-transferable.  For those who joined HR Tampa after the HR Tampa Conference, we will be in touch to prorate 2025 rates.
